I applaud other opinions, but do not attack me personally by calling me names or mocking me for writing a 'bad review' of your favorite book. I could like different authors than you, I could like different books. Why not? The world would be boring if we all liked the same things. Also, please do not personally attack the people who comment here for having opinions that differ from yours. Thank you for reading :)
Reading & Reviewing is looking for affiliates! @ reply me on twitter @readreview or email me karinelips@gmail.com :) If you'd rather just do a link exchange (your site will be added on my blogroll), you can email me too :)

A new section of R&R: monthly words and photos about my reading experiences.
July 2010 Suspense (and one bad piece of fluff). Post-its, thunderstorms, getting worked up over the Tour de France, and preparing for my traveling. Themes? Not my bag.
Reading & Reviewing (in short: R&R) is a self-portraiting book review series created by me, Karin, a Dutch freelance photographer, in January 2008. I wanted to inspire myself (and others) to read more while also becoming more aware of what I am reading. I'm already reading twice the amount of books I usually do!
Besides reading and writing about that, I enjoy traveling, baking, drinking lots of coffee and doing creative things such as painting or design. And decorating my new home. I blab about this stuff at my other blog, Miss-Cellophane.com.
Publisher or writer? Contact me if you'd like me to review your book. Policy: I write honest, well-considered reviews, whether they are for books I purchased myself, or for advanced review copies (ARC's). This is something I needed to stress at this blog, so here it is.
Note about updates
Expect 1 or 2 reviews every week, and some extra posts related to books in between.
I will not respond to unsolicited emails asking me to post about, and thus redirect my readers to, a blog/website/article with commercial affiliations. This is a personal website.
